Arrival and Dismissal Maps & Procedures

With our new building comes new carpool and drop off and pick up procedures! Please familiarize yourself with the maps and instructions below before the first day of school.

Morning Drop-Off Procedure

• ALL CARS will line up on Sonnet going south
• Turn right onto Flair, then right into the front drive
• Enter the front drive and stay to the right side of the drive
• Children may leave the car in the drop off zone designated on the map and enter the building
• Parents proceed through the drive and MUST TURN RIGHT to exit on to Flair
• Parents who wish to park and walk their students in may park in the areas designated with green dotted lines

Please DO NOT:

• Enter the carpool line coming west on Flair (through the stop sign) or by turning left from Sonnet onto Flair
• Turn left from Flair into the front drive
• Enter the front drive from the side drive; this drive is reserved for BUS TRAFFIC ONLY
• Block or park in the Teacher Parking Lot off of the front drive
• Park or exit your car ANYWHERE in the front drive
• Let your child out of the car unaccompanied to walk up to the front door from ANYWHERE that is not the designated carpool line in the front of the school
• Park along Sonnet on the southbound side of the road or in any of the areas marked No Parking Zones; allow enough room at all intersections for cars to be able to get in and out safely
• Cross Sonnet OR Flair anywhere but the designated crosswalks

**All students must enter the building from the front doors. No one will be permitted to enter the building from the side doors facing Sonnet.

Afternoon Pick Up Procedure

• ALL CARS will line up on Sonnet going south
• Turn right onto Flair, then right into the front drive
• Enter the front drive and stay to the right side of the drive
• Drive all the way down to the cafeteria end of the drive
• Your student(s) will meet you at the end of the drive and load into the car
• Parents proceed through the drive and MUST TURN RIGHT to exit on to Flair
• Parents who wish to park and walk up for their students may park in the areas designated with green dotted lines and pick up their students in the pick up zone indicated on the map

Please DO NOT:

• Enter the carpool line coming west on Flair (through the stop sign) or by turning left from Sonnet onto Flair
• Turn left from Flair into the front drive
• Enter the front drive from the side drive; this drive is reserved for BUS TRAFFIC ONLY
• Block or park in the Teacher Parking Lot off of the front drive
• Park or exit your car ANYWHERE in the front drive
• Stop when you see your child waiting/before you get to the loading zone; they will walk down from their waiting zone to meet you
• Park along Sonnet on the southbound side of the road or in any of the areas marked No Parking Zones; allow enough room at all intersections for cars to be able to get in and out safely
• Cross Sonnet OR Flair anywhere but the designated crosswalks

Walkers & Afterschool Program Participants

Students who walk to/from school should use the sidewalk to walk along the front drive out to Flair and then proceed on their usual route home. Please remind your students of the following safety guidelines:

• Students should only cross the street at intersections and use crosswalks. Please do not cross in the middle of a road, there will be lots of parked cars making it difficult to see little bodies waiting or attempting to cross the road.
• Students should stay on sidewalks and avoid walking across the front or side drive, lawns or parks.

Students who stay after school for YMCA or Dolphin Sports Club will be dismissed directly to their programs by school staff. Those programs will communicate their afternoon pick up procedures to you directly.
