Get Involved — Volunteer!

When adults volunteer, all students benefit! There are many opportunities for parents and community members to get involved!  Your help is needed! 

After registering for the website, click "My Account" to find current volunteer opportunities.

But first.....Remember to register on Voly!

In order to keep our scholars safe, all DISD volunteers must have complete a background check at DallasISD.voly.org.  It only takes a few minutes to register.

 Step 1: Go to dallasisd.voly.org

Step 2: Create a volunteer account

Don't have an email? Use your cell number and carrier extension (ex: 2125551212@txt.att.net)

Step 3: Complete the application. 

Under "My Dashboard" click "My Applications.

Select "General" volunteer, check "Accept background check", and save your profile.

Step 4: Complete the Volunteer Orientation and E-sign

Step 5: Wait for clearance notification.

Step 6: If clear, you are ready to choose and opportunity to serve at DeGolyer.

Step 7: Check out your account at DeGolyerPTA.org to find all current volunteer opportunities.
